Vera & Olsi have selected  Crystal to cover their upcoming Connecticut Wedding, but prior to the Wedding of course, is the highly anticipated engagement shoot.

In this outdoor engagement shoot video, their love for one another is evident and the chemistry is bursting through the photos! This is a Photographer’s dream!

We can’t wait for the upcoming Wedding where we get to Photograph them again. You can see for yourself they are a beautiful couple and the photos almost come almost effortlessly.

For their love story project with Crystal,  Vera & Olsi choose an outdoor engagement shoot in a scenic area. This is always nice because not only is nature the best backdrop for Photography, but it creates for a relaxed and sunny atmosphere for a happy shoot.  Outdoor Engagement Shoots also offer a wider a variety of backdrops on location with minimal effort. Buildings, grass and the like serve as props.

During their shoot, they also had a chance to change into different clothes, beginning with formal attire and ending with a casual more relaxed clothing. This is also a clever way to create diversity in a shoot.

I  personally believe the shoot itself is more memorable when a location marks the spot where you took your final set of photos before the big day.Another cool idea is to return to your outdoor engagement shoot location for your anniversary photos or even for an anniversary date picnic. Either way you can use the location to mark the spot of a memorable time in your life.

Today’s engagement photo shoot ideas  have evolved to full blown mini productions.  The fun part about it is that you, the Bride to Be gets to be even more involved in the process.

“The Days of The Boring Engagements Shoots Are Over”

The days of the boring engagement shoot are over, you can now incorporate a theme, become characters in your favorite movie, use props or even locations to follow your theme choice.  The awesome part of this is that you can not only incorporate your wedding invitation or even wedding theme in to your creative engagement shoot ideas, but you can include them in your wedding day.

What’s even cooler? You can create a video not only to announce that you are engaged, but to let your guests know to the save the date. Check out Krystal’s video and her CT Engagement Photo Shoot Ideas:

CT Engagement Photo Shoot Ideas

I can’t take the creative credit for this cool idea. It was all my Bride to Be Krystal’s creative direction. We simply walked around the movie theatre and allowed for the moments to happen on their own.  It was a relaxed,  laid back kind of shoot with no real agenda except to have fun and be creative together. Krystal says she mostly remembers laughing through out the whole thing.

The next thing I did, to create more variation, was to have them change into a more relaxed set of clothes and move on to a local park. At the park,  we used the trees, the grass and everything else in between to add a more laid back feel to the show.

Finally, she wanted to use the video as pre-save the date, that would late be followed by an actual save-the-date in print. Part of her engagement photo shoot idea was to add the date at the end of the show in a clever way.

CT Indian Wedding Photography

The perfect blend of color, dazzling beauty and splendor in an Exotic Bride Arabic Wedding. It  was a breath of fresh air to attend a wedding where I simply didn’t know what would happen next!

In this wedding, I have a chance to serve an Exotic Bride  Arabic Wedding.

The cultural experience of course, was part of this array of treats. I simply had no idea what would happen next or what anything meant, which provided a feast for my cultural inquisitiveness.

The bride was beautiful, the people were joyous and wore colorful attire, and the photos were a photographer’s dream!

The family was so warm and hospitable to me. Kind enough to show me the way when I was clueless as to what else to do next. The diversity of ceremonial rituals were also a treat for me, first time experiences usually are.

The vestiments provided me an array of vivid colors, jewelry and hand painting to play around and get artistic with and create a variety of unexpected shots.

After over a decade as a Wedding Photographer, I honestly enjoyed experiencing  the foreign or unknown. The Arabic Wedding was not only fun, but a cultural experience I am eagerly looking forward to repeat. The great news is, my Bride was so happy with her photos, she has spread the word within her community and now I am sitting on the edge of my seat awaiting my next venture.
